Love Live! Overseas Ticket & Hotel Packages

Love Live! has sometimes offered ticket & hotel packages to overseas fans for their concerts, starting from Aqours 4th LoveLive! in 2018.

You get a ticket to the concert as well as a hotel stay (in one from a pre-determined list of hotels; you don’t get to choose) for the days around then. Participants are selected by lottery.

Here is a list of them. (Link to the spreadsheet if it's hard to read here.)

FAQs

  • Will there be an overseas ticket pack for [event name]?
    • There is usually no confirmation until applications are open. (The Yohane and NijiGaku 6th ones were announced further ahead of time, though.)
    • For Aqours Finale: It seems likely. I don’t see why they wouldn’t offer one.
  • How much would it cost?
    • The most recent one (as of the time of writing) is for the LL Asia Tour concert in Yokohama. It costs up to 84-90k JPY for one day of the concert and 106-112k JPY to participate in both days.
  • What are the odds of winning?
    • For most LL concerts where the overseas ticket pack was offered, the odds were pretty good (but not guaranteed). But Aqours Finale is not a normal concert, so I have no idea about that one.
  • When do they open applications?
    • Historically, applications have opened after 1-2 rounds of the Japan-based lottery, 1-3 months before the event.
    • For Aqours Finale: The results for the first ticket lottery for Aqours Finale are up Feb 8, so the earliest you might expect to see an overseas pack announcement is mid-February.
  • When do results come out?
    • For the last few overseas ticket packs, results were sent about 1-2 weeks after applications opened.
  • Can I apply and win on both e+ and the overseas ticket pack?
    • Technically you should not do this. (But there is no evidence I have seen that they do any cross-check between the two systems.)
  • When do you get the tickets if you win?
    • You pick them up at the venue on the day of the first session you have a ticket to.
  • What are the seats like?
    • Usually pretty good, and on average better than tickets from the first lottery on e+. But occasionally there are seats that are mediocre or not good—for example, some got the back of the arena at the Genjitsu no Yohane concert.
  • I paid for my ticket, but can I cancel it/get a refund if I can’t go?
    • Yes. There is a chart showing how much you can get refunded if you cancel within a certain time period.
